Movement Vector

Moving and Being: Exploring Creative Ways of Being in Relationship to Self and Client


This 1 day experiential workshop in Exeter offers the opportunity to explore non-verbal ways of working creatively.

 

  • This playful workshop allows participants to develop confidence in expressing themselves creatively.
  • Includes use of Movement, Sandplay, creative writing and drawing, helping extend the skills of participants and supporting them to implement these in their work.
  • Helps give a deeper understanding of body language and non-verbal interventions.

Course Details

Key features:

  • Focuses on relational conversations through partner work using creative methods.
  • Helps bring awareness to boundaries using movement exploration.
  • Includes working with potential transference / counter-transference issues by sharing experiences in small groups.
  • Participants will have opportunities to reflect on case studies, try out new ideas and embody concepts.
Eligibility:

Our CPD workshops are open to anyone who is interested in the subject matter, wants to develop their skills and expand their knowledge. This workshop is particularly aimed at counsellors, psychotherapists and those in helping professions who work therapeutically with others, including social workers, tutors and supervisors.
