Study Skills Sessions

Everyone can learn these straightforward study skills, which will enhance your learning experience and help you fulfil your individual potential. The sessions are open to all and individuals can book onto as many or as few sessions as are relevant.

  • Useful for those who have never had the opportunity to learn these academic skills before, as well as those who just need to 'brush up' with some guidance and practice.
  • Open to current Iron Mill College students and graduates along with others who want a chance to develop these essential skills.
  • Sessions are fun, confidence-building, supportive and encouraging. We believe there is no such thing as a silly question or a poor learner - it is often poor teachers who can cause us to feel that way.

Eligibility:

Our Study Skills Sessions are open to anyone who wants to develop their study skills, whether they are Iron Mill College students / graduates or not.

How to apply:

Simply sign up using the booking form on this web page - supplying the requested details and paying the applicable fee.

What our Students Say

"Every weekend is full of practical skills to learn with the added theoretical background needed to understand it. The makeup of the group allows us to learn from each others experiences and from people with different therapeutic backgrounds. It's a great course with a supportive and excellent tutor."
Antoinette Davey - Advanced Transactional Analysis Programme
