Course Structure and Content

The Professional Diploma consists of 7 taught modules under the following headings:

  • The Aetiology of Coaching
  • Models and Methods of Coaching
  • Theory and Practice of Coaching
  • The Art of Coaching
  • Coaching in a Business & Management Context
  • Practising Ethical Supervision and Coaching
  • The Philosophy of Coaching

These taught modules consist of a minimum of 140 hours of contact time, including 10 hours supervision followed by study and reflective work bringing the course total to 609 hours.

  • Setting up a business
  • T.A. Perspectives, Gestalt Perspectives, CBT Perspectives and NLP Perspectives
  • Managing major life changes/finance/work/professional life
  • Returning to civilian life from the services
