Supervision Log

Viva examination (a face to face discussion and dialogue with a sympathetic and knowledgeable Supervising Trainer to celebrate what you know in the company of your trainer) and afterwards a celebration.

You will be expected to bring your written work, some case examples of supervision and a willingness to engage in a dialogue with someone external to the course and evidence of 40 hours of supervised practice as a supervisor with your supervising supervisor’s report.

This final Viva Voce is only a part of the whole assessment process which will be continuous and a transparent and honouring process. Our aim is to turn out confident, competent and kind supervisors who will help enhance the practice of their supervisees.

The supervision training is recognised by the EAS. The EAS (European Association for Supervision e.V.) is a European trade association for supervisors and coaches whose objectives are the promotion, application and quality assurance of supervision and coaching.

Entry requirements

Portfolio of Supervision training. Applicant must currently be practising in their field.

Taster Days

We offer one-day tasters in all of our longer training. These days are both informative and fun and you will leave with some useful tools. They take place 2-3 times a year, dates can be found in the Workshops section of the website. If you decide to progress onto further training the amount you have paid will be discounted from the course fees.

Supervision Taster Day

Supervision is exactly what it says, its a bigger vision of professional practice, training needs, organisational development and professional development. This taster will seek to introduce and inspire those of you that have a compassionate curiosity for those involved in the helping professions. This is a stand-alone seminar but is also a good introduction to what the longer training can offer. Read more...
