Is the Iron Mill's Certificate in Counselling is needed for the Advanced Diploma in Counselling entry requirements, or can this be gained elsewhere?
The Certificate does not have to specifically be the Iron Mill's own, although you may find this beneficial to your learning path. We do require the Certificate to minimum of 90 hours whereever it is obtained.
How can hours be made up in the lead up for Viva's / which taster days count towards this?
Hours can be made up by attending CPD workshops or the Supervision Taster Day, Coaching Taster Day or the Counselling Children and Adolescents Taster Day. Certificate's of attendance will be required for these.
Will my fees be effected by the Vat Change in January 2010?
Yes. The standard rate of Vat is returning to 17.5% on the 1st January 2010. This means that all fees you pay after this date will automatically be adjusted in accordance with the new Vat rate. In order to calculate your new fees, simply divide your current instalment by 1.15 and then add 17.5%. Please remember to amend your Standing Order accordingly (if applicable).
Should you wish to pay any portion of fees due after the 1st January 2010 and still benefit from the lower Vat rate, you would need to do so on or before the 31st December 2009. Please contact us to make arrangements in this instance.
