CBT Training

The government has emphasized the need for short term intervention and has funded basic training in CBT in the NHS as a first port of call.

It appears that the service will be limited both in time and in depth. It does mean that many primary care placements will no longer be available, but that the need for the effective in depth counseling services that patients have been able to access will still be needed and the waiting lists for help are likely to be longer. Thus a service to whom G.P's among other can refer will be valuable.

We are encouraging graduates to consider our CBT post qualifying training. It is being run by one of the best names in the countryand someone who has had years of working in CBT as a trainer and consultant in the NHS. The course is designed to add another professional string to your bow and in the current climate it is certainly worth considering.
