1. Workshops / Tasters can be booked and paid for online through Google Checkout, your card details are secure and encrypted by Google, we do not retain any financial information. Please browse the workshops below, you can add workshops to a shopping cart and book and pay online.
2. If you would prefer to send a cheque by post or ring with your card details. You can complete a separate form online to make a provisional booking and then follow up the booking with your preferred method of payment.
3. If you are more of a pen and paper person you can book the old fashioned way by downloading the booking form and posting it to us along with your payment.

Time to Heal

Times - 10am to 5pm
IIn these two days, the training will explore the interface between issues of available time, the need to work through traumatic experience and the use of attachment theory. How can the practitioner offer a healing therapeutic relationship that focuses on dysfunctional patterns of attachment within the inevitable constraints of time available? What is the neurological basis for trauma and how does past experience and social pressures complicate current trauma?
Practicing with Time Focus

In this workshop, Jenifer will draw together the theoretical and practical elements of a fully integrative approach to the practice of psychological therapy in contexts where brief work is required.
‘The Unfolding Self’ - Psychosynthesis Summer School
Helen originally trained in Psychosynthesis, an integrative, holistic and transpersonal approach to human development and has worked in the field for over 20 years training, coaching and supervising professionals in Europe. She specialises in integrating the psychological dimension in her approach and holds a wider transpersonal view of what it means to be human. She has considerable expertise in working with people seeking both outer success and a deeper definition of fulfilment, which nourishes mind, heart, soul and the wider community.

This workshop will explore the impact of death in the life of a child and the ways in which effective bereavement support can be offered to children and their families.
Asperger’s Syndrome in Adults
Date - 26 + 27 March 2011
Times - 10.00am - 5.00pm
The purpose of this workshop is to provide an introduction to Asperger’s Syndrome, dispelling some myths along the way. With the aid of case studies, we will explore cognitions and behaviours and why many ‘conventional’ strategies may not work for adults with AS.
Containment
Date - Sunday 13th March 2011
Times - 10.00am to 5.00pm
As therapist and counsellors, we frequently talk about the work of 'containing' - containing the therapeutic space, our clients, their feelings and how they express them, and containing ourselves, our own feelings and impulses. In this workshop, we will look at containment from the outside and the inside.
Equality and Diversity
Date - Sunday 27th February 2011
Times - 10am to 5pm
By the end of the day you should be able to describe what is meant by Equality and Diversity and how it is integrated into everything we do as well as how legislation plays its part in ensuring equal treatment and in addressing discrimination.
We should be able to see how we may be responsible for acts of discrimination, and to reflect on how we can act differently and how our perceptions and the perceptions of others may influence how we act with others and how they act with us.
