Building upon the introductory knowledge provided in the TA101, participants will be introduced to six core ideas from Organisational TA. This CPD can stand alone or be the pre-cursor to embarking on a longer Organisational TA programme.
The six concepts covered:
1. Individuals, Groups (Teams) & Systems - using TA as a map to navigate these layers in an organisation
2. The TA idea of Role Theory from Bernd Schmid’s award winning work - this builds upon the foundational TA concept of Ego States
3. Applying Functional Fluency to leadership and organisations - building upon Susannah Temple’s - which also won the Eric Berne Memorial Award
4. Eric Berne’s idea of Public Structure & Group Forces - one of his two ways of looking at groups (teams) in organisations. And the difference between a Group and a Team in TA.
5. & the second Berne group idea - Imago or Private Structure and its links (or not) to Tuckman’s team development model
6. The TA ideas of Discounting & Accounting applied within organisations

Think about the session as a taster in Organisational TA. Participants will be introduced to six topics that highlight TA thinking applied to organisations of any type. Participants will be introduced to practical ideas that they will first apply to themselves & their context and begin to form ideas about how they might apply these in their own work. There will be practical activities and plenty of opportunity for exploration, discussion and reflection. This 2 day CPD can stand alone or could be a pre-cursor to further TA development in the Organisational field.
Pre-requisite: Participants must have attended a recognised EATA / ITAA TA101 - does not need to be an Iron Mill TA101
Participants will be asked to complete a short Google form to ensure I tailor the contents of the 2 days to the participants attending.
A reading list and links / resources will be provided after the event
