We're a specialist college. We were uniquely established to offer psychotherapy and psychological well-being courses that held space for students to express their individuality and creativity as developing professional practitioners. This remains the ethos of the College today.
Working from Exeter, Devon and Poole, Dorset, Iron Mill College has had over 9000 students through its doors, delivering over nine different courses for qualifying and post-qualifying counsellors and psychotherapists. We also have a rich CPD programme for social professionals and a low-cost counselling service to local communities.
This remains as and continues to be the bedrock of our excellent reputation as a specialist, and leading provider of mental health and well-being education and training. Our alumni resource, create and run local and regional services; our students join them in direct fieldwork experience that is central to courses; and we are proud to have been creating, contributing to, and supporting this network for over four decades.
