Counselling Service

Karen Wrack Profile Picture

Karen is a qualified integrative counsellor; her therapeutic journey started over 20 years ago, volunteering as a bereavement supporter. This steered her towards a Diploma in Transpersonal Psychotherapy in London. A particular interest in mind-body connection, lead to her working with individuals affected by long-term health conditions and chronic pain, and with people diagnosed with a terminal-illness.

As well as her professional work as a counsellor, Karen has worked for many years in therapeutic service-provision and management, and has enjoyed working across a variety of organisations, from local counselling services, NHS trusts and third-sector organisations, such as Terrence Higgins Trust, Diabetes UK, Cruse Bereavement Care and Save the Children.

Having recently moved to Devon, Karen is already making the most of outdoor life, enjoying time with her family and dogs, being by the water, in the ancient forests and on the moors. She will soon be setting up private practice locally.

Areas of responsibility: Managing the college's counselling service.
